About Me..

Hello! I’m Anja Burns, originally from Germany, and I’ve been living in the United States with my husband and family for nearly thirty years. My journey has been quite diverse, with a background in floral design, healthcare and church administration.

In light of my own experiences with childhood and adolescent trauma and adversities, I’ve discovered the incredible power of healing and the importance of continuing that journey, guided by The Holy Spirit, who inspired me to educate myself on the clinical facts and biblical truths- and find ways to encourage others to continue on their own healing journey.

I’m passionate about helping others, especially women, to overcome their past and step into a brighter future. While I’m not a therapist, I hold certifications from the International Board of Christian Coaches (Board Certified Mental Health Coach) and the American Association of Christian Counselors (Master Diploma in Mental Health Coaching: Youth Mental Health, and Professional Trauma-Informed Life Coach).

I bring a compassionate, trauma-informed approach to my coaching. I integrate mindfulness, breathing techniques, and even some creative exercises to help you find peace and clarity. I create and hold a safe space for you.

With your consent, I may also incorporate prayer into our sessions, as part of the holistic support I offer.

I truly believe in the value of therapy when needed, and I offer coaching as an extension to support you on every step of your healing journey. My faith in Christ guides my work, and I’m committed to helping you live a fulfilled, vibrant life.

"You're braver than you believe, stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think." - A.A. Milne

"Maybe the journey is not so much about becoming anything. Maybe it's about unbecoming everything that isn't really you, so you can be who you were meant to be in the first place." - Paul Coelho

"émerveillement" (French noun) - Surge of wonder. It's that breath-taking moment when the universe astonishes you even in the furthest and quietest of its corners. The feeling of smallness in the presence of something great- and you're overjoyed and humbled all at once.
